Dr Ibrahim (Ibby) Ali

Biography and Clinical interests

Dr Ibrahim (Ibby) Ali is a rehabilitation medicine specialist practising at Mater Private Hospital Townsville. 

Dr Ali has broad experience assessing and managing physical and cognitive disabilities secondary to neurological or musculoskeletal diseases. 

His practice also includes management for spasticity (stiffness) following certain neurological disorders including ultrasound guided injection with botulinum toxin and nerve targeted procedures. 

Dr Ali’s experience in internal medicine and pain medicine adds significantly to his scope of rehabilitation medicine practice. 

He understands that living with a disability is very stressful for patients and their families and he strives to provide supportive and compassionate care.
