On-site accommodation
Mater Private Hospital Townsville has on-site accommodation available for family and visitors. These units are located directly opposite the Pimlico Campus on Fulham Road.
Our units offer the relatives of out-of-town patients a convenient place to stay while family members are in Hospital. These units are only available to patients and / or relatives of patients admitted into the Mater Private Hospital Townsville.
Limited parking is available at the units. There are 13 basic motel style units, and one larger family unit with two single beds and a double bed. The Sunbus service stops near the units on Park Street at regular times during the day. A timetable is situated at the Bus Stop. In addition, a Taxi Tank is located opposite the units.
Subject to availability, the Mater Courtesy Vehicle may be available weekdays from 10:00am until 2:00pm to transport families to local destinations.
For your convenience, we provide a common room with a fridge, microwave, toaster and electric frypan for basic food preparation. Due to fire safety regulations, cooking facilities are not available within the units.
